Surfing at Finca Del Mar
Finca Del Mar fronts a long stretch of fun, uncrowded, surfable beachbreak peaks. Winds are often offshore - and there is always swell.With access to the surf through the Beach Club and surrounding shoreline acreage, residents will have the convenience of checking the waves from the decks of the clubhouse, rinsing off in our outdoor showers, and chilling by the pool after a long surf session.

A short walk down the coast surfers will find an island-like left point. Fast and hollow. Breaks over a flat rock shelf. Experts only. Can deliver really amazing rides.

Rancho’s
Beachbreak at Finca Del Mar's doorstep, a gentle sand bottom beach with long lefts and rights breaking off a river mouth. Perfect for long boarders and beginner surfers. Gets very good with long peeling walls.

Outer Chiggas
A short walk down the beach is this right reef point with fast fun sections. Wave can get hollow.

Jicaco
To the north, a 15-minute drive separates you from another excellent beach break. Peaky, glassy peeling waves can be had up and down this long beach. Excellent A-frames on all tides. Consistent offshore winds groom the peaks.

Conditions
The beaches are exposed to both SW and NW swells, making the surf very consistent all year.APR-NOV: biggest swells
NOV-JAN: waist to chest high offshore perfection
FEB-MAR: mid-size swells, always offshore
